How It Works

After you place the desired items in your shopping cart, click ‘Checkout’.  Your shopping cart will calculate and display the shipping costs, if any, at the bottom of the page, so you can review them before you complete your order. The delivery costs, if any, are also displayed in the confirmation e-mail we send you after you place an order. We use Pony Express for our deliveries.

Secure Online Payments

For online purchases, we use Stripe, which is the fastest and most secure way to make payments online. Stripe secures your information using sophisticated encryption to process every transaction. For more information on how Stripe secures your data visit; https://stripe.com/ie/privacy

Money Point Returns Policy for Online Orders

Cooling Off Period & Refunds

We offer a 14-day cooling off period on all items; beginning on the date you receive your order. During this time, you may return an item purchased from our online store for a full refund, without stating a reason. Please note that the cooling off period applies to private individuals only and not to businesses.

Certain limitations apply. Please familiarise yourself with these requirements prior to ordering:

    • The item must be unused.
    • There must be no visible damage or signs of use.
    • The product and all accessories, manuals and packaging must be returned in their original state.

We may reduce or decline your refund if the item has been used or damaged or is incomplete.

In practical terms, this means you may inspect an item to determine its suitability, but you may not use it; any action that renders the item “used” voids your right to the 14-day money-back guarantee.

We may refund a reduced amount if:

    • the product has been damaged on its journey back to us
    • any components (manuals, cables, adapters, and so on) are not returned

Bespoke Requests:

If a product has been tailored to meet a specific requirement and you are not satisfied with the final product, a refund will not be offered. We will however, actively seek to resolve any issues you may have, within reason and according to the original specification.

Upon receipt of your returned item, we will process your refund, including the delivery charge. Please note that should a more expensive delivery option have been chosen on your order, you are only entitled to be refunded the cost of our cheapest standard delivery charge.

Consumers may request a refund if we are over 30 days late in delivering an order. If a specific delivery date has been agreed outside of our usual delivery parameters, as would be the norm in the case of a customised or special order product then the 30 days will begin on the specified and agreed delivery date.

Return Shipping Costs

If you are returning an item under the 14-day cooling off period or for repair, you are responsible for paying the cost of the return shipment. The goods must be sent back to us within 14 days of informing us of the cancellation. Money Point does not accept any responsibility for returns which are lost in transit or damaged on their journey back to us. We recommend that a reliable delivery method with a tracking facility such as a courier or registered post be used for returns.
